Happy Friday Cali Crew, I just thought that I would stop in and say hello. Tommorrow, I have to go to work and afterwards, a private knitting class to learn intarsha (sp). Sunday and Monday, no plans. Hope everyone has a great day and a better weekend. Kim

OMG Thank God it's Friday!!! It is so exhausting celebrating ones birthday on multiple days. I need today off to rest but that's not going to happen. I'll be ice skating Saturday and going to see Teena Marie on Sunday and yes then some rest afterwards... Have a wonderful cold, blessed weekend! Ms Shell

Good Morning all You beautiful California People!!!! Thank you Janine, TGIF!!!!! Your babies are beautiful!.... Monica I understand exactly what you are saying.... the little ones don't really ask for much and are so happy with just your attention. As you can see I have recently been getting off the side of the board and am now actively posting!!! I love seeing how everybody is doing. This weekend I plan on getting some much needed rest, but next weekend Watch out San Francisco!!!! I'm going to tear it up!! LOL If anyone has any suggestions of things not to miss in San Fran Please let me know.. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!! Rissy

Good morning Janine and Cali! I am SOOOOOOOO tired and SOOOOOOOOO ready for a long weekend. Sam is afraid I'm on the verge of burn out and pretty worried about me. I keep telling him I'm just tired. Have some fun things going on Sat and Sun. I don't have to clean the house cuz DH did it yesterday! My In-laws are taking Sammi for the night Sunday so I can sleep in on Monday! Woo hoo! I'm sure I will feel better with a bit of rest. Here's to a fantastic friday Cali. Sue

Another friday image: (TGIF_sun4) for MySpace from ChromaLuna Morning Janine and Cali board!!! Yesterdays weather was crazeeeee for sure. It snowed in parts of San Diego (Ramona and Alpine) and last night heading north on the 15 about 5:30 was the most beautiful sight, wish I'd of had a camera. The sun was shining in a small part illuminating the mountains that were covered in snow!!! It was breathtaking!!! I don't even usually notice those mountains, but they were gorgeous!!! Then when we got off the freeway and headed east there was a rainbow against the dark gray sky. Too cool sights within minutes!!! Thank you God!!! So, I had a great VD yesterday. Mike's and my 25th anniversary is tomorrow (wow, hard to believe!!) and I told him he had to plan our day because I always do and frankly we know I can plan a romantic day, I wanted to see what he could do. After 25 years he should know what I like to do, right? lol So he decided we were going to do our thing on Thursday (his day off so there was less crowd than Saturday). Well he didn't realize it was VD, but that is ok. So the rain killed half of our day, so we get to extend it to tomorrow. So yesterday we went bowling (I haven't bowled in many years because of my knees, but we use to bowl together and he still does bowl a league now). We bowled 3 games and had a blast!! The good news is my knees were fine!!! The bad news is I still suck at bowling!!! hee hee Then we went for an early dinner at Black Angus. It was great, we actually shared a meal (he isn't so good at that yet) and we fought over what way to make the steak. (a good fight lol) He likes med-med well, I like blood rare-med rare. He insisted we get it my way and he would be fine. What a guy!! I took a little steak out of the middle for the rarest part and it was a great meal and we were both satisfied, him even full to his surprise!! lol We had the house to ourselves too so we watched our taped Grammys and then...use your imagination, but can I just say "SKINNY SEX ROCKS!!!!" lmao So tomorrow we will go stroll at Seaport Village (one of our faves) and go see a movie; with Starbucks in there somewhere. (mind you, he HATES coffee and that was his idea because he knows it is my fave!!!) Ok, so he is romantic afterall, I knew he could come up with great stuff if I made him do it and HE DID!!! I love him sooooo much!!!! So, that is our weekend plans and we are kidless till tomorrow evening so maybe some more skinny sex!!! Good Morning there Miss J, So glad it is Friday. Dougie took some time off, and now he doesn't go back to work till WED. Then he works 2 days and then off for 3. His work wasn't going to give him off for my surgery and then out of the goodness of their hearts they decided it might be a good idea. Holy Crap, I told him, I really didn't think the insurance is going to pay for me to be in the hospital for an extra day because his work bosses were butts. Anyway, it's good for him, he needs time to get his head straight. I had a great Valentines Day, spent it with 2 very good friends in the afternoon, the out to a fabulous dinner with my wonderful great hubby of 35 years. I can't believe that he has stayed that long. But you know him well enough to know, that when I say he is wonderful, you know it's the truth. Today I have one appt to fix up my back, then to Walmart, the off with friends to dinner tonight, tomorrow my aunts house and Sunday my cousins house. Of course all of this includes food. So nice to be able to control what you eat tho, it makes such a difference. I wish you and that even more wonderful man of yours a great weekend. Hugs all around to those two very beautiful grandkids, they are really lucky to have you two as grandparents. Then to all here, have a great weekend too. A little cold, well ok, REALLY dang cold, I hope Steve ties a rock to his waist, he will blow away in this wind. Stay warm Love ya, D

Hi Janine & Cali! TGIF is for sure... I have a 3 day weekend coming up so I am happy about that. I got the best present for Valentine's ever yesterday- my son made me a card and in it he wrote, " To my mom, my valentine. I love you as much as the stars in the sky." He's only 9 years old!!! He already is a hopeless romantic like his mom.

I attended a support group meeting last night at the local hospital. (my work

) We meet the second Thursday of every month in the evening. I have met some really neat people there. Well everyone have a great day. I just want to crawl back in bed and rest.

I didn't have such a great morning but looking forward to changing that around this afternoon! Keep warm everyone. Hugs, Jaime

Hello, Well this is a late Happy Friday shout out because we got up early and had breakfast at Mimi's Cafe (Gus took the day off to extend out Valentines ) and then we headed over to the Happiest Place on earth (besides my bedroom) DISNEYLAND! Yesterday Gus took me to dinner at Shogun's and we had a great time.

Tonight we are going & . What a great start to a wonderful weekend. We have a family party this weekend and some out of town family is coming in...it will be good to see them. Be safe and have fun, Anna
